"¿Una vez salvo, siempre salvo?"<br /><br />Respuesta: ¿Una vez que una persona es salva, es siempre salva? Cuando alguien llega a conocer a Cristo como su Salvador, es introducido en una relación con Dios que garantiza una salvación eternamente segura. Numerosos pasajes de la Escritura declaran este hecho.<br /><br />(a) Romanos 8:30 declara, “Y a los que predestinó, a éstos también llamó; y a los que llamó, a éstos también justificó; y a los que justificó, a éstos también glorificó”. Este versículo nos dice que desde el momento en que Dios nos escogió, es como si fuéramos glorificados, porque Dios ya lo tiene propuesto en el cielo. No hay nada que impida al creyente ser glorificado un día, porque Dios ya lo ha propuesto en el cielo. Una vez que una persona es justificada, su salvación está garantizada – está tan seguro como si ya estuviera glorificado en el cielo.<br /><br />(b) En Romanos 8:33-34, Pablo hace dos preguntas cruciales, “¿Quién acusará a los escogidos de Dios? Dios es el que justifica. ¿Quién es el que condenará? Cristo es el que murió; más aún, el que también resucitó, el que además está a la diestra de Dios, el que también intercede por nosotros”. ¿Quién va a presentar cargos contra los elegidos de Dios? Nadie, porque Cristo es nuestro abogado. ¿Quién va a condenarnos? Nadie, porque Cristo, Aquel que murió por nosotros, es el que condena. Tenemos como nuestro Salvador al abogado y al juez.<br /><br />(c) Los creyentes son nacidos de nuevo (regenerados) cuando creen (Juan 3:3; Tito 3:5). Porque un cristiano tendría que ser un empedernido para que pierda su salvación. La Biblia no da evidencia de que el nuevo nacimiento pueda ser quitado.<br /><br />(d) El Espíritu Santo mora en todos los creyentes (Juan 14:17; Romanos 8:9) y bautiza a los creyentes en el cuerpo de Cristo (1ª Corintios 12:13). Para que un creyente se vuelva no salvo, el Espíritu Santo “no tendría que estar morando” en él, y tendría que estar desligado del Cuerpo de Cristo.<br /><br />(e) Juan 3:15 declara que todo el que cree en Jesucristo “tiene vida eterna”. Si usted cree en Cristo hoy y tiene vida eterna, pero la pierde mañana, entonces ésta del todo nunca fue “eterna”. Por lo tanto, si pierde su salvación, las promesas de la vida eterna de la Biblia serían un error.<br /><br />(f) Pienso que el argumento más decisivo, se encuentra en la Escritura misma “Por lo cual estoy seguro de que ni la muerte, ni la vida, ni ángeles, ni principados, ni potestades, ni lo presente, ni lo por venir, ni lo alto, ni lo profundo, ni ninguna otra cosa creada nos podrá separar del amor de Dios, que es en Cristo Jesús Señor nuestro” (Romanos 8:38-39). Recuerde que el mismo Dios que le salvó, es el mismo Dios que lo va a guardar. Una vez que somos salvos, somos siempre salvos. ¡En definitiva, nuestra salvación es eternamente segura

Today, I talk to Dr. Gabor Maté. A celebrated speaker and bestselling author, Dr. Gabor Maté is highly sought after for his expertise on a range of topics, such as addiction, stress, and childhood development. Imagine spending six months of every year living in total shade. That’s what life is like for residents of the Norwegian town of Rjukan, set so low in a valley that they see no direct sunshine at all from October to March. Marnie Chesterton heads there to hear about an ingenious solution: giant mirrors that beam rays down into the town square, where locals gather to feel the reflected heat.
The man behind the project was motivated by a need for winter sun, but how much difference does it really make to our health and happiness? That’s the question posed by this week’s CrowdScience listener Michael, who has noticed living in the rainy Australian city of Melbourne is taking its toll.
Many pensioners claim sunshine relieves aches and pains, as well as conditions like arthritis, but one of the biggest scientific studies found temperature actually has no impact on reported pain levels, while factors like air pressure and humidity may play a role.
When it comes to our mood, it seems that spending time outside is more important than feeling the heat, and the optimum temperature for wellbeing is around cool 19 degrees centigrade, while excessive warm weather has been linked to an increase in violence and crime.
